DA RFO 8 employees and officials joined in the nationwide simultaneous kick-off activity of the 2023 Farmers’ and Fisherfolk’s Month Celebration. Wearing barong tagalog and baro’t saya, the DA RFO 8 employees participated in the flag raising ceremony where Proclamation No. 33, Series of 1989 was revisited and read by Dir. Larry U. Sultan, DA RFO 8 RTD for Operations.

Engr. Miguel Pedroso was once again installed as Farmer-Director and is set to lead and represent the farmers in the department. In his message, he expressed his commitment in pursuing his goals to make the region known for its EVIARC-sweet jackfruit.

Meanwhile, series of activities are slated in observance of this month long celebration.###
